News1130 file photoVANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Home sales and prices in Metro Vancouver in March were once again well below their year-earlier levels, but the sales drops are smaller as buyers are drawn back into the market.Sales in the metro area--excluding Surrey--fell 24 per cent last month from a year ago, but that's much less than several previous months. And the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver says the increase from February of this year, at 53 per cent, was well above the 10-year average for that figure. A similar situation happened in February from January as bargain-hunters hit the market.The industry group says its adjusted average selling price for an apartment-style condo last month was down 13 per cent from a year earlier at $337,000.
