一直以来都是知道入籍时间要求是四年住满三年方可申请入籍，但是最近三次听说是五年住满三年就行，到底怎么样的时间要求？请教有实例经验的同胞？如能指点非常感谢。

If you have, the calculator will tell you that you are eligible to apply. If you have not, it will tell you when you will be eligible to apply.What is the residence requirement?To be eligible for Canadian citizenship, you must have lived in Canada for at least three years (1,095 days) out of the four years (1,460 days) preceding your application. Please note that you cannot meet the residence requirements for citizenship without a minimum of two (2) years as a permanent resident. When calculating your time in Canada: only the four (4) years preceding the date of your application are taken into account;each day you lived in Canada before you became a permanent resident counts as half a day;each day you lived in Canada after you became a permanent resident counts as one day;time spent serving a sentence for an offence in Canada (e.g. prison, penitentiary, jail, reformatory, conditional sentence, probation and/or parole) cannot be counted toward residence - there are some exceptions to this rule;absences from Canada may have an impact on your residence. If you meet the residence requirement, you can print the calculation and attach a copy to your Application for Canadian Citizenship - Adults. If you attach a copy, you do not need to fill in sections 7(e) and 7(g) of the application. Simply check the box 'Residence Calculator results submitted with my application'. Make sure that the date of application used in this calculation and the date of signature on the application form and on the calculation printout are the same.If you do not meet the residence requirement, the calculator will give you a date when you should be eligible to apply. You can print the results for your records. When you are eligible to apply, you should redo the calculation before sending in your application. Your circumstances might have changed. 回复: 入籍时间要求？逻辑上说不是用什么5年或者4年内住多少天这样笼统去计算的，真正的算法是，按你申请入籍之日往前推算以往的4年内你住过累计三年的时间大约1095天就可以通过入籍条件了，比如您今天提出申请入籍，而今天为Feb 03,2010,那就向回推算，也就是回到Feb 03,2006那天，而这以往4年时间（总共365x4=1460天）里，你如果在canada境内居住了3年也就是365x3=1095天的话，你就够资格了。这是个多么人性的，理性的推算方法啊。不过此方式比较适合当拿枫叶卡短登回国，1，2年内再返回加拿大长登的情况，而如果你开始1，2年住到加拿大，而后来又回到了中国，那可能这样推算就不太划算了。道理很简单因为规定是从申请之日往日推算,而不是按你第1次登陆向未来推算。我把我的话摆开了，揉碎了说，你一定能够明白吧。
