This measure is really troubling for many foreign students and temporary workers who have been in Canada for a few months, or even a few years, and who were planning on applying for citizenship in the near future. They now see that they might have to wait for many more years. This really changes their plans.”

保守党目的很明确，推出c24法案大量减少短期入籍人数以利于明年大选，因为他们知道新移民参与选举不会把票投给他们。鸡零狗碎之伎俩！
