I only received an email to inform me the file number last week but I have not received a regular letter yet.

nothing new. I still cannot check the application status on CIC website

I got by mail cause I remember I purposely choose not send me any information by e-mail when I filled out the application forms.

Nothing new. I checked the status yesterday says can't find any info cause might be three reasons. One of the reasons is this case is not started to process yet. I guess it must be a long way to wait.
