The specifictasks for this role require the candidate to assist in the build-out ofpaid search campaigns on Baidu, Google and perhaps Yahoo/Bing. Thisposition will report to the Senior Search Marketing Strategist. This position will be based in our office located in the Pasadena area. This role may convert to a contract-to-hire situation if the workloadcontinues into Q4 2014.Job Expectations:The duties and responsibilities described above may provide only a partialdescription of this position. Other duties and responsibilities not outlined inthis document may be added as necessary or desirable, with or withoutnotice.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Required: Experience assisting search marketing campaigns with a proven track record of delivering results A solid understanding of paid search ranking factors and algorithms and principlesKnowledge of web technologies (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, tag management) as they apply to search marketingRequires self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous andprofessional manner when dealing with internal departments and thegeneral publicMust demonstrate effective oral communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the departmentStrong verbal and written communication skills in English and in MandarinExperience Requirements:This role generally requires a minimum of 1-5 years of experiencepreferably in a mid-to-large scale enterprise or with anadvertising agency managing similar size campaigns This role requires a minimum of 1 year experience in ecommerce Google Adwords Certified and Bing Ads Accredited Professional, preferredEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, business, computer science (or a related field) or equivalent work experience in paid searchEquipment Knowledge:Excellent with Excel, knowledge of pivot tablesBasic to intermediate knowledge of Google AnalyticsHands-on experience with tools such as Bing Ads Editor and Google Adwords EditorExperience with enterprise level platforms such as DoubleClick Search is preferredPlease Note: At this time we are not offering any employer-sponsored work authorization.iHerb Inc. is a leading online retailer of nutritional supplement andwellness products (vitamins, minerals, herbs, botanicals, bath andbeauty, pet care, sports nutrition and children's health).
