婚姻绿卡开始是两年期的临时绿卡(Conditions of Residence)；两年期满前的90天内，你的担保人必须和你一起提出转永久绿卡的申请（I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions of Residence ），否则过期后，会认为你自动放弃你的绿卡。准备的资料如下：1．I-751 表格2．旧的绿卡正反面的复印件3．家人朋友的证明信：主要是证明他们婚姻关系的真实性签了名丶留了地址电话，也好好地准备了一番，以备来人取证时，说的流利不磕巴不矛盾。4．共同的信用卡帐单：证明两个人在经济上的你来我往。5．覆盖两年的银行帐单：证明两年来俩人同住一个屋檐下。6．共同的医疗牙医保险7．养老金帐户：主要是继承人（受益人）涉及到三人的关系8．大量的生活照片。资料和表格连同支票邮寄到了以下地址：USCISVermont Service Center75 Lower Welden StreetST. Albans, VT 05497具体邮到那里，视你的居住地而定，你可以从表格后面查到。大概两个星期左右收到了收款收据，上面有收据号码，但是你不能够象其他的申请那样，凭收据号码可以在网上查到你的案件进展情况，你只能够查到Vermont Service Center 处理这类案件的日期，你就大概知道什么时候可以轮到你了。在所有的移民局Service Center里，似乎Vermont是最慢的，不过处理种类案件的期限是一年，所以你不用急，急也没有用。共同银行帐户共同贷款帐户共同租约人寿保险：受益人是你的配偶遗嘱共同的电话丶水电丶气丶电视丶网络等的费用帐单俩人孩子的出生证俩人联名报税单，包括所有的W－2表或者1099表其他你认为能够证明你们婚姻的资料
