· Company commercial law experience gained in private practice
· Experienced company commercial / corporate lawyer dealing with a diverse portfolio to include business acquisitions, sales and transfers, joint venture agreements, partnership agreements, terms and conditions and shareholder issues.
· Experience in business development and marketing would be a distinct advantage.
· Experienced in initial instructions for Sale and Purchase of residential and commercial property matters
· To undertake administrative work on files including drafting letter and photocopying as required
· To ensure the confidentiality of all the firm’s and clients’ documentation · To provide support to other colleagues and assistants in the other department as may be required
Knowledge & Skills Required
· Excellent attention to detail· Ability to draft all the usual documents involved in business matter transactions· Maintain a case list and diary for each stage of the process· Excellent knowledge of UK Property regulations and practice/ knowledge of UK Company Law / knowledge of UK Immigration Law (Preferred)· Excellent communication and drafting contract skills· Ability to work under heavy workload and to tight deadlines· Pleasant and positive manner in dealing with colleagues and clients· Additional languages (including Mandarin, Cantonese) would be advantageous but not necessary
