刚收到ONLINE GROUP ORIENTATION的邀请。好像家园的同学们参加的是FACE TO FACE的CIIP活动吧？Dear CIIP Client, Thank you for completing your registration for the Canadian Immigrant Integration Program (CIIP), the pre-departure orientation, planning and referral service funded by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to help you prepare effectively for economic integration in Canada. If you are unable to attend the face-to-face Group Orientation session offered in Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing, we would like to invite you to participate in an online Group Orientation (GO) offered by our office in Guangzhou on November 17th. Details as follows:Online GO sessionNovember 17 9:00pm―15:00 pm (Beijing) with break during 12:15 - 13:15The GO session will cover the following topics:A. Job Prospects: What are my destination and occupation options?B. Job Readiness: How can I improve my competitiveness?C. Job Search: How should I look for a job in the “Canadian” way?D. Job Retention: What do I need to know about keeping a job? Personal Planning SessionDate: November 18Time: CIIP staff will confirm your personal planning session after your successful registration for this session. In the personal planning session, you will work individually with an Orientation Officer to begin planning your integration journey. This one-hour session will focus on your specific career and destination decisions and on recommended action both pre-departure and on-arrival. You will also be offered resources and connected to Canadian organizations, which will provide immediate online guidance and support. To find out more about the time zone you are in and the time difference to Beijing, please refer to www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/. Due to limited space, registration will be closed once the space is filled. Please register with us by October 26. We’ll put you on the waiting list for our next available online session if the space is filled for this session. As we don’t hold session in your city, you are most welcome to register to attend our face-to-face session that is regularly held in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
