加拿大华人论坛 美国留学移民K3申请中可以用B1B2进入美国吗？

请问，我现在申请了B1B2签证，一年多次往返。明年初跟美国公民在中国结婚，即申请K3签证。据说要8个月才能拿到。可是我7月份想拿现在申请的B1B2签证去美国。届时可能入境吗？

我理解如果你在入境的时候并没有提交移民申请，应该是可以的，K3并不是移民申请

For K-3 visa, there are some special things you have to know since 2/18/20101) The US Citizen can not only apply K-3, he/she must file I-130 application then geting the Receipt Notice and using this Notice to apply for K-3 without filing fee. (So if the Law Office filed K-3 for you that means they already filed I-130 immigration case)2) Since 2/18/2010, the US CIS made some changes for K-3 Visa application: if your I-130 gets approval first, then no K-3 visa for you, otherwise you may have k-3 visa and the case will be transferred to Guangzhou, China.3) If your K-3 application gets approval, the beneficiary can not enter the USA with B-1/2 visa. however, if the beneficiary is waiting for K-3 visa, then he/she may enter the USA with B-1/2 visa.4) If the person enters the USA with K-3 visa, he/she will have 2 years valid nonimmigration status and he/she can apply for the Advance Parole (Huimeizhen) and need not have the other B-1/2 visas.
