Series 25 － Policy Regarding Residency Classification of Students for Admission and Fee Purpose其中之第七条是SECTION 7. ALIENS7.1 An alien who is in the United States on a resident visa or who has filed a petition for naturalization in the naturalization court, and who has established a bona fide domicile in West Virginia as defined in Section 3 may be eligible for in-state residency classification, provided that person is in the state for purposes other than to attempt to qualify for residency status as a student. Political refugees admitted into the United States for an indefinite period of time and without restriction on the maintenance of a foreign domicile may be eligible for an in-state classification as defined in Section 3. Any person holding a student or other temporary visa cannot be classified as an in-state student.我是绿卡身分~已经申请我儿子他正在等排期中~但是他持的是学生签证在这里念社区大学~念社大两年都是用居民身分念的~因为我们有工作缴税跟买房车在这州~最近他申请上了本州的州立大学~以上英文部分是学校规定可以成为居民学生的条件之一请问这样的内容我儿子有资格成为居民学生吗?我们提出很多材料证明~但学校寄通知来说他没有绿卡不行

一般都以学校的要求为准,象您孩子还在排期,算不上是居民
